Access Statement

Introduction

Trinity House offers 4 Star, Gold Award in a secluded setting just four miles from the coast with magnificent beaches.

Trinity House has four en-suite bedrooms, a downstairs twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and three ensuite bedrooms upstairs (two have a shower, one a bath). with a sleeping capacity of 8 – all the bedrooms are large enough to include a full size cot, on request. The downstairs living accommodation is open plan with a well fitted kitchen, large dining table and seating for eight with smart TV. There is a private hot tub available between 8am and 9pm. The gardens front and back are enclosed.

Pets are welcome. Thereare two dedicated parking spaces with spare places for any additional cars.

We have an online booking service run by Supercontrol. Six weeks before your holiday is due you will receive an email requesting the balance of payment and upon receipt you will be sent directions, details of the use of the hot tub if necessary and details/time of entry.

Delivery of supermarket goods to the cottages is easy to arrange via on-line shopping. Please ask us for specific address and directions.

The nearest railway station is at Acle, four miles from the cottage.

The nearest bus-stop is on the main road, about half a mile walk from the cottage.

There are details of a number of local taxi firms in the guest information file in the cottages.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

There is a gravel drive that leads to the car park for the cottage. The car park has two dedicated spaces and additional shared hard standing plus additional spaces alongside the drive, as required. The path that leads to the cottages is made of red stone, is non-slip and is 120cms wide. There is no kerb Anyone with mobility difficulties can drive up to the path ensuring they do not walk on the gravel.

Car park to Trinity House = 15metres.

The car park is deliberately set slightly away from cottage front doors so guests cannot unload luggage straight from their cars. We have a luggage trolley available – please request at time of booking. We are happy to provide any extra support you may need.

Outdoor Facilities

The car park is gravelled and the path to the cottage is of a red stone material. There are two security lights-one over the car park and one over the front door, that automatically light with movement. There is a name plate on the wall near the porch. There are no steps.

The front door is 90cms wide and the internal doors are 81 cms wide.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas

Trinity House has one twin bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room.

All bedrooms are carpeted. The en-suite shower rooms have a cubicle 90x90cms with a step of 22cms up into them. The bath is 165cms in length and 55cms high. The bathroom floors are tiled.

Self-Catering Kitchen/ living Area

The kitchen is fully fitted in pine and located at the far end of the living area and covers an area 205cms x 160cms. The floor is tiled with stone flooring. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob and oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and fridge, freezer (under counter size). Work surfaces are black melamine and are 90cms high. and walls are tiled.

The living/dining area is open plan. There is a table and chairs with seating for eight in Trinity House. Comfortable, well supporting armchairs and settees, coffee tables and occasional tables with lamps and bookcases are provided.

Heating and water are supplied by a combi-boiler. There is a fire blanket and fire extinguisher located in the kitchen.

Grounds and Gardens

Trinity House has a large back garden with furniture and a hot tub and is enclosed with a fence from the car park and a hedge to the private ground beyond.

Additional Information

The property has regularly tested smoke alarms. There is a notice in the cottage with the evacuation procedure outlined. There is a non smoking policy in the cottage.

Pets are allowed in the cottage.. You are requested to exercise your pets off the grounds and to keep your dog on a lead when outside the cottage – not everyone likes them as much as we do! Bowls and towels can be provided if requested at the time of booking.

Provision and delivery of oxygen can be arranged with yourselves locally.
